Company formed to sell new and used construction equipment. Awarded the Bomag compaction equipment and Hydrovane (later Compair) compressor dealerships. Company moved into purpose built premises with workshop, stores and yard at Brixworth.

Developed the sale of refurbished quality used equipment for the world market
1986
Awarded the Thwaites site dumper dealership. Awarded the Pel-Job mini-digger dealership, later to be absorbed into the Volvo group.
Premises expanded to accommodate larger parts department and administration functions
1988
Awarded the Manitou rough terrain forklift dealership
Established a subsidiary plant hire and sales company ACE Hire and Sales on the Isle of Man
1993
Set up Mawsley Mining and developed a range of underground equipment, supplying vibratory rollers, and plate compactors to British Coal
1995
Successfully won contracts to design and build underground transportation vehicles for British
Coal, RJB mining Installed ISO 9002 Quality System across all functions of the business
1996
Won major contracts in Canada to supply underground Transportation vehicles
1997
Awarded large orders for Manitou handlers for nationwide contractors and plant hires.
Additional workshop and paint spraying facilities added to the premises in Brixworth.
1998
Management buyout by Jane Sheldon and Ian Wright.
1999
Developed and manufactured roll-over protection bars for construction equipment badged “MAWBAR”
2001
Won contracts to remarket used equipment on behalf of major finance houses

Keith Pearce joined the Board of Directors Launched “MAWPARTS” cost effective replacement spare parts for a range of construction equipment
2004
Launched “MAWLOCK” range of anti theft ram locks for construction equipment
2005
Won MOD sole supply agreement to supply and maintain “yellow plant” for the army training estates nationwide.
Won the contract to supply “MAWLOCK” to Manitou as “Securilok”

Awarded the Takeuchi mini digger dealership
